House Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

About Us:

Camphill Milton Keynes Communities is a charity providing unique person centred support, based on a modern view of the Camphill movement, for adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum condition, as well as a number of people living in the Milton Keynes area who have a learning disability.

About the Role:

We are looking to recruit to a maternity cover post for a new House Coordinator.

This is a rare opportunity to join the care management team at Camphill Milton Keynes, a community supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are looking for an experienced, person-centred, organised House Coordinator with excellent people management skills and strong values to come and join our community.
You’ll be an established manager or team leader with a good understanding of autism and learning disability or an aspiring and ambitious senior looking for progression.
You will work closely with our Care & Support Managers to ensure the highest standards of care and support for residents, staff, and volunteers in line with our values.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily care services and activities for residents
  • Leading a hands-on team to deliver person-centred support
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive atmosphere within the house
  • Overseeing staff development, rotas, and health & safety

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) with a willingness to work towards Level 4/5
  • At least 1 year of experience managing services for residents with autism and learning disability
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A clean driving licence and ability to drive
