Camphill MK – Name Change

We’re pleased to announce that Camphill Milton Keynes will now be known as Camphill Milton Keynes & Northants, reflecting our expanded community across Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire.

Marking an important milestone in our continued growth and development, the new name follows the successful integration of services previously known as William Blake House. It reflects our commitment to the communities we support across both Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire.

For more than forty years, Camphill MK has supported adults with learning disabilities to live lives of dignity, purpose, meaningful relationships and genuine community. Today, we support more than 100 residents and employ over 200 staff across a growing network of services.

The transition to Camphill Milton Keynes & Northants represents more than a name change. It reflects the coming together of two organisations with shared founding principles and Camphill tradition, and a common belief that people with learning disabilities should be respected as individuals empowered to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

“This new name reflects who we are today and the communities we are proud to serve. As we have grown, it became increasingly important that our identity recognised both Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire, and the people who live, work and build community across both areas.

“The integration of the services formerly known as William Blake House has strengthened our organisation, bringing together dedicated staff, residents and families who share the same values and vision. We are excited about the future and remain committed to providing outstanding support while preserving the sense of community and belonging that is at the heart of everything we do.”

Whilst the public-facing name will change to Camphill Milton Keynes & Northants, the organisation’s registered legal name will remain Camphill Milton Keynes Communities Ltd.

We want to emphasise that the change does not affect our services or our ongoing commitment to the people we support. The rebrand is part of a wider journey to build one organisation united by shared values, purpose, and a commitment to enabling people with learning disabilities to lead rich, connected, and meaningful lives.
