We are also taking telephone orders for our Artisan Bakery.

Our Vegetarian Café offers adults with a range of abilities the opportunity to receive supported work experience. Each member of our team undertakes continuous on-the-job training and tuition in customer service, food safety and food preparation. Our aim is to create a peaceful atmosphere accompanied by good food and a first-class friendly service.

As part of our Community mission for people to reach their full potential we work closely with our artisan bakery, garden and land-craft workshops. We wish to develop this further by providing additional teaching support and a shared work experience within the workshops with the aim to maximise the use of our garden produce and bakery products within the Café menu offer.

We include products grown and produced in our gardens and bakery in our menu, meaning we can give you the freshest produce available. Not only helping improve your well being, but also helping support our charity and supporting local business, and adding a real sense of purpose and achievement to the workshops we run and the residents within them.

Lunch  12noon – 2pm –  We offer “House Specials” – using our own Camphill Café creativity, and a little poetic license. This dish incorporates the best of the season, accompanied by fresh breads from our bakery with a range of homemade pates, dressings, dips and chutney, fine cheeses or eggs.

Or choose our seasonal vegan and vegetarian soups, again accompanied by fresh bread from our bakery. In addition, our menu includes sandwiches and toasties, jacket potatoes and simple salads with a range of fresh filling for you to select to accompany them.

"Your bakery items are absolutely gorgeous! In fact, having also eaten in your cafe a few times, I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. Superb food. Super service. And the bonus is that it's all fresh, with much of the produce home-grown. Thank you."

"Good selection of toasted sandwiches and jacket potatoes, and all the cakes are homemade. All ingredients used in the menu are either grown on-site or ethically sourced. You can sit inside or outside in the garden, and the service is very good. They are always friendly and welcoming. It is also very good value for money."
