Local Businesses Support Camphill MK Gardens Development

As we prepare our Pennyland and Willen Park sites for the new houses we are building, the Garden Workshop team have been busy creating a new horticultural space in our paddock at Willen Park, gifted to us in the 80s by Milton Keynes Development Corporation.

Growing produce is important to us at Camphill MK. The production of foods forms part of the workshops for our residents who participate in outdoor activity every week of the year growing fruit and vegetables for our houses and vegetarian Café.

Over the past few months, residents have created 28 new raised beds utilising the no-dig method. We are grateful to the Finnis Scott Foundation, who gave us a grant for the materials to build the beds, to Frost Garden Centre for donating the compost, to Monet Tree Care for the mulch, and Routeco, who sent a team of volunteers over to support us plant us some of the beds.
