trustees 2025

Trustees Week – 3rd-7th November 2025

It’s Trustees’ Week (3rd – 7th Nov) and we want to say a BIG thank you to all our wonderful Trustees!

Trustees’ Week is a time for us to come together to celebrate the achievements of nearly 1 million trustees across the UK.

Charities have a huge, positive impact on society and are dedicated to a wide range of good causes. This year, we celebrate the individual talents, viewpoints, and experiences each trustee brings to their board, the collective decision-making, and how diversity can strengthen a charity. We also highlight the wealth of guidance and support that charities can draw on to survive and thrive.

And as a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities, we face new challenges every day. The positive impact our Trustees and those all over the UK make is invaluable. Offering their time for free and utilising their skills to make our community a better place.

Thank you for your expertise, time and commitment.

If you’re thinking about becoming a trustee, you can find out about events happening this week here, and find out more about our fantastic trustees here.

Meet Our Trustees

Elizabeth Sheldon (Chair)

“I have been a trustee of Camphill since 2019 and Chair of Trustees since January 2025. Camphill is an important institution in Milton Keynes, and I am proud to be associated with it and to do what I can to help with the running and administration of Camphill.”

Peter Howard

“One of my interests is gardening, which I find both creative and a good form of exercise.  Apart from working on my own garden, I volunteer at Fred Roche Gardens in the city centre.  Needless to say, I am full of admiration for the gardening team at Camphill and everything they achieve.”

Sarah Levett

“I am passionate about everyone having the opportunity to find happiness and meaning in what they do and how they live. As an autistic person, this has been a struggle for me at times, but I have found where I belong and helping others do the same brings me joy.”

Ian Revell

“I have been a trustee of Camphill for 5 years now.  I am currently CEO at MK Community Foundation and am passionate about using my bike to travel around Milton Keynes and get to my meetings.”

Elaine Bradley

“In 2009, before Tim was CEO, I used to do his job at Camphill MK. I love the community, the warmth of the residents and the variety of workshops. I am retired now and enjoy splitting my time between Milton Keynes and holidays in Europe.”

John Moffoot

“I visit Camphill MK every week, either for cake or lunch in the café, or to pick up my wife, Muriel, after she volunteers in the drama workshop. I worked for Milton Keynes Council for a long time and now support local projects, including Tools for Self-Reliance and Milton Keynes Rose.”

Rukhsana Malik

“I have worked for the Open University for over 25 years, in IT and software management, and I am a local councillor in Walton.  I love Milton Keynes for its green spaces, the range of things to do, and the atmosphere. Sometimes I can be involved in serious work, but I’m a big kid at heart. I love travelling, watching sci-fi movies and art as well as spending time with my family.”

Jeremy Cooper

“I have been a trustee of Camphill MK for 14 years and love supporting the residents’ work through filming projects, particularly in the theatre. I worked for the BBC for most of my career.”

Geoff Lightfoot

“I joined Camphill’s Board because my sister Caroline lived in Camphill, and I loved being able to support the work that goes on here. My academic background is in corporate governance.”

Susan Prosky

“I have been a trustee at Camphill for over 10 years. It’s amazing how things have changed from the early days. I have a son with special needs, so I truly understand the magic that Camphill offers its residents and enables them to live full lives. Plus, I love the bread you make there.”
