Harvest and Michaelmas Celebrations
We’ve been celebrating Harvest and Michaelmas this week.
Bringing together all the achievements of the community we enjoyed a shared lunch of four different soups cooked by the houses and fresh bread from our Bakery served by the Cafe team.
The celebrations saw the Theatre group perform part of the Stranger Danger play, with Teo posing as the big bad wolf, Tamsin and Andrew as the two of the little pigs, Lee as the Gasman and Liam as the policeman.
Our Residents Forum presented a short film about recycling called Greener Camphill focussing on reducing food waste.
Alison talked about what happens in the Tools Workshop with help from Luke.
Art and Craft, Garden and Newsletter Workshops presented their work to the entire community.
Of course, we sang a few songs led by Joan and all felt rather grateful for what this year has brought.
