Camphill MK Footie Stars Win Awards

Camphill MK Footie Stars Win MK Dons Awards

Residents Stuart and Steven recently won awards at the MK Dons SET awards evening. Stuart for the Most Improved Player in his category, and Steven won the Manager’s Choice.

The lads have been playing football for years. They love the sport, and thanks to the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust, they play every week and in league matches.

Stuart’s early football career started aged twenty when he played for a club called Cobras, which was run by a charity called Afasic. Stuart moved to Camphill in 2004, five years later and was quick to join MK Dons after he arrived. He has played for the Dons ever since and is a regular recipient of trophies at the annual award ceremony!

Steven first played in a team for St Nicholas School in Southend when he was a child. After he left school, he entered his wilderness years, in which he watched a lot of football and kicked around with mates in parks. All that changed when he moved to Camphill in 1993. Steven quickly joined the MK Dons and has played for them ever since. At 53yrs old, he could be described as a footie veteran! He is also a regular recipient of trophies at the annual awards ceremonies!

We’re so proud of these two!!
