Camphill MK Reaches the SME MK and Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2024 Finals!

We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully reached the finals of the SME MK and Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2024.

What an achievement! Being recognised as a finalist in two categories reflects the success of our charitable business over the past year. These achievements and the winners will be celebrated at The DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, MK Stadium, on the evening of Monday, June 24th.

As finalists in Business of the Year, we demonstrated significant growth over the past five years, increasing residents from 40 to 77 and staff from 63 to 130. As an employer in Milton Keynes, we offer job opportunities to the wider community. Our training and internal development programme are also noted. Our ambition is to continue to grow through our Capital Programme and the recognition across the board from other award programmes, i.e. MKBAA, Inspiration Awards, National Care Awards and our excellent PAMMs rating. 

Being finalists in the Community Business category recognises our residents’ contributions to wider society, volunteering, supporting Purple Tuesday and our involvement with the IF:MK. We are working towards raising awareness of the value of neurodiversity in the workplace through our partnerships with 17 businesses. We also lead the way with our environmental ‘stewardship’ and sustainability (including products we make and sell). This award is also about our step-up with our patron and national TV coverage whilst staying true to our residents and ethos.
