The Planet of Dr X: Terror-Gaias – 28th May
Join us for the performance of The Planet of Dr X: Terror-Gaias on 28th May.
The sci-fi musical is written, directed and performed by our Performing Arts Workshop.
In a parallel universe far from our own, exists a universe which learnt to harness the phonics of sound as a power source. For them, there was no steam power, electronics or nuclear, just sympathetic harmonics, the sound of the spheres. But even this harmonious power source can be twisted and used for dark purposes. Dr X has risen through the ranks, from orphaned farm child wandering the streets of Terre-Gaias’s mega Space City to graduating as the greatest scientific mind the galaxy has ever seen. Dr X, with the help of his beloved lab assistant, Dr Bela, is finally close to developing a weather machine to control the climate in the outer reaches of Terra-Gaias farmland so that enough food can be produced for everyone, and no one needs to starve ever again. But when the powerful elite and politicians oppose Dr X, he takes matters into his own hands and sets on a dark path for (what he thinks) are good reasons, but at what cost… his principles, his family, the universe. How can a NANI droid, a bunch of space pirates and a kid seeking to find out where he came from save the galaxy?
