Music and Storytelling Workshop

Room at Our Table Song

Our Wednesday Music and Storytelling Workshop has been hard at work creating a new folk song! We asked the group what was most important to them about Camphill, and the ideas came thick and fast. So not only did we manage to write the song in a day, but we also managed to record a version of it to share with you all.

Press play below!

You can share it via our SoundCloud page.

These are the lyrics for you to sing along.

The door is always open,

You can come inside

There’s room here at our table,

And we welcome you with pride

It’s hard if you are all alone

You don’t know who to be

When times get tough, there is a way

Just take this tip from me

It’s always better with people

The earth was made to share

Our history is full of folk

Who always act with care

So come along to Camphill

Join our community

We have room for everyone

To be who they’re meant to be

The door is always open

You can come inside

There’s room here at our table

And we welcome you with pride

Enjoy!
