Big Give Christmas Challenge 2nd – 9th of December

We’re delighted to share that Big Give has once again chosen Camphill MK as a partner charity in this year’s Christmas Challenge.

Between 2nd and 9th December, every donation made to Camphill MK through the Big Give website will be doubled, at no extra cost to you.

Big Give has helped raise more than £301 million for nearly 18,000 charity projects since 2008, and this year we’re aiming to secure at least £9,000 through the campaign.

Why Your Support Matters

At the heart of our community is the Chrysalis Theatre—a vibrant space used daily by residents for drama, music, movement, scriptwriting, and learning the technical skills required to run a purpose-built venue. These activities help build confidence, communication skills, peer relationships, and a deep sense of purpose.

This year’s campaign will help fund essential upgrades to the theatre, including:

• Accessible foyer bar areas so individuals with mobility restrictions can serve behind them and be served at them.
• Intelligent video-conferencing equipment, enabling shows, celebrations and community moments to be shared both in person and online—supporting even greater inclusion.

Thanks to the generosity of eight supporters, we already have £3,600 in pledges, ready to match every pound donated.

Our CEO, Tim Davies, said, “Last year, our Big Give campaign generated £34,000, which funded a full house extension. We’re incredibly grateful for this ongoing support, which helps us create a more comfortable and inclusive environment for residents.”
