About Musica Charity Choir MK
“We take great pride and joy in performing at a high standard to raise money for worthy causes. The choir performs a mixed programme, singing very varied music so there’s something for everyone from well known stage and screen melodies, folk songs, spirituals, church music, pop songs and classics. Click to hear some samples of us in concert. Choir items are interspersed with solo, duet or quartet performances from our singers and we always feature our very talented accompanist. We can involve the audience too if requested, particularly at Christmas.”
About Bradwell Silver Band
“Bradwell Silver Band is a registered charity and Milton Keynes based Brass band and who has been in existence for over 100 years. Today the band plays at numerous local events including being featured several times at the Ironbridge Festival of Brass in Shropshire, and has played at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the famous Chelsea Pensioners.
We consist of a Senior Band which meet twice weekly and a development brass group of players aged 8 and upwards. The band support players through the provision of group playing, tuition, music and instruments; securing a future of brass banding. Bradwell Silver performs community concerts, fetes, celebrations and events throughout the year with the Christmas period being our busiest time.
The band is a friendly, warm group of players who enjoy meeting new musicians and entertaining the public.”
