At Camphill MK Communities we are creating communities that live, learn, work and celebrate life together for adults with learning disabilities and autism – who are supported and encouraged by staff, volunteers and co-workers.

We run a varied program of workshops designed to teach new skills and provide valuable work and life experiences all in a fully supported environment. Our Art & Craft Workshop aims to reduce stress and encourage relaxation of body and mind through art and craft as well as exercising the fine motor skills involved in art and craft activity.

Residents are joined for these activities by day service users from partner organisations across Milton Keynes. Participants can express themselves through various art and craft mediums, make friends and get to know each other as well as meeting international co-workers, staff and volunteers.

The Art & Craft Workshop allows all levels of abilities to get involved in learning and developing their skills.

Everyone who takes part in the creative workshop have individual art and craft projects related to their interest and backgrounds.

Through developing skills and using self-expression participants create many beautiful and unique pieces of work which are then made into many wonderful products which we sell in our Etsy shop as well as our onsite shop at Camphill.

We also strive to be more environmentally aware by using materials and yarns that have been donated to us that would have otherwise gone to landfill. All our packaging for Etsy sales is made from recycled materials and can be recycled too, all helping to do our bit for the environment.
