Beyond Borders – Exhibition & Special Menu 6th – 17th July

Join us for Beyond Borders, a community art exhibition celebrating South Asian Heritage Month, curated by the South Asian Artists’ Community at our Cafe, 6th – 17th July.

Inspired by unity in diversity, the exhibition brings together artists from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and creative practices to celebrate the richness and diversity of South Asian heritage. A special menu has also been designed to celebrate the vibrant diversity of our community.

Have you ever wondered how art can bring people together?

The South Asian Artists’ Community (SAAC) was born from a simple idea: that creativity has the power to connect people, celebrate cultures, and build a sense of belonging.
Founded in Milton Keynes in 2024, SAAC is a growing community of artists, makers, designers, photographers, crafters, and creative enthusiasts who share a connection to South Asian heritage.
But they’re about much more than art. They create opportunities for people to meet, learn, collaborate, share stories, and celebrate the rich diversity of South Asian cultures through exhibitions, workshops, community projects, and cultural events.

Why South Asian Heritage Month (SAHM)?

Every year, South Asian Heritage Month (1 Jul – 31 Jul) celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of South Asian communities in the UK. This year’s theme, “Unity in Diversity,” reminds us that our differences are something to celebrate. Through art, we can explore identity, heritage, belonging, and the connections that unite us across borders, generations, and experiences.
Beyond Borders brings together a collection of artworks by talented South Asian artists, each sharing their unique perspective, story, and creative voice, in collaboration with Camphill Milton Keynes Communities.
