Midsummer Fair Joy

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, played a game, had a stall, sang, picnicked, shopped, set up & cleared up, and supported our Midsummer Fair. You made a real difference. We couldn’t hold these wonderful community events without you.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter and singing. We’re pleased to say all our brave teddy bears survived their heroic skydives from the balcony, and the teddy bear hospital was thankfully unused – although we did have one teddy cling to the roof and another parachute got caught on the railings! Thanks to Bryan for successfully launching around 30 bears. The parachutes made by the craft team were a huge success.

We’re delighted that our Midsummer Fair raised an amazing £4,441. Thank you all for helping to make it such a fantastic success!

Collaboration Choir said, “We had THE BEST TIME yesterday at Camphill MK Midsummer Fair! It really is one of our most favourite events. Such a brilliant community, and we were privileged to be a part of the entertainment! Highlights had to be the skydiving teddy bears and us crowning the lovely Lucy as our ‘dance-captain’!”

MKSNAP said, “The day was filled with new connections, great conversations, community spirit and plenty of smiles.”

• The Great Get Together community picnic brought people from across Milton Keynes together in friendship, unity and community spirit
