Camphill Craft Fair in Chrysalis theatre

Camphill MK Craft Fair 2022 Success!

Our annual Art, Craft and Food Fair was a great success! We are thrilled to have raised over £3,600 for our charity.

Deputy Mayor Mick Legg and his wife, Mandy, kindly opened the fair for us, and we welcomed over 700 people from all over the county! The entertainment in the hall made it very different and unique. Thank you to those who got involved. We are delighted and sincerely thank those involved who worked so hard.

Our spirited Craft Fair could not have been possible without our staff, workshop coordinators, events coordinator, SMTs, senior support workers, assistant manager, support workers, volunteers and residents throughout the day.

You’ll agree that this was a true community event!

Our artisan bakery sold out by 1:30 pm! They sold 70 freshly baked loaves, 40 sourdough, 40 focaccia, 40 scones, 24 mince pies and 80 muffins!

Our craft workshop stall had constant sales all day, and they sold their handmade creations, which included textiles and pottery, and raised almost £800 throughout the day.

With over 700 visitors to our Willen site, we want to say a HUGE thanks to all those who came and bought lovely handmade goodies! We hope that we will see you all again soon and that you enjoyed the day as much as we did. Thank you for supporting us!

And we can’t forget the AMAZING local makers, crafters, producers and designers who took part. Your talent and craftsmanship are why the day was such a success! We hope you sold lots of your creations, and we will see you again next year. Please liaise with Carolyn, our new events coordinator, who will take over the reins from Julia, who’s been the driving force of our craft fairs since their inception several years ago.

Thank you all again!

“Thank you for letting me join your very well organised fair. It was my first time at a fair and I suspect I’ve been spoilt regarding the organisation. The help to get all my stuff in was so welcome. The free coffee and venue amazing.”
