New Guinness World Record – MK Can – We Did It!

On 16th October 2023, along with many Milton Keynes businesses and organisations, we helped the MK Food Bank to smash the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest line made up from donated canned food. 

Milton Keynes came together on World Food Day (16th October) for the world record attempt. Collectively, we lined up 10km of food cans – which wound their way round Milton Keynes’ Campbell Park, starting at The World Food Day Pillar at the iconic MK Rose.

Thank you to our supporters – corporates including GT Automation, Deloitte, Shakespeare Martineau and Mercedes, and our dear friends who have popped into our Cafe to donate! 

We are incredibly pleased to have raised almost 500 cans for this event, well above our target of 350!
