Tamsin’s Baby Basic Bags

Since July, our resident Tamsin has been busy making baby bags to donate to the Baby Basics MK charity.

The non-profit supports families living in Milton Keynes and the immediate surrounding area who are in financial hardship.

Tamsin’s beautiful hand-made bags will be filled with helpful gift packages to help families.

We had a visit from Carol from the charity who came to collect the bags. She was really impressed, thanked Tamsin, and said, “Her workmanship is excellent!”

For her first bag, Tamsin worked together with Ally, and gradually, bag by bag, Tamsin gained confidence and developed her skills. Now, Tamsin can work independently on the sewing machine, only needing minimal support.

We are so proud of Tamsin for her talent and for volunteering her time to do something remarkable to help others.
