A is for Artists at MK Gallery
We’re thrilled to participate in the ‘A is for Artist’ exhibition at MK Gallery.
In celebration of Autism Acceptance Month, throughout April, the MK Gallery’s Project Space hosts work from five local MK organisations who work with, support and advocate for adults with learning disabilities, autism and neurodiversity. The exhibition showcases diverse talents from across the city and embraces the brilliance of difference. Expect to see intricately crafted models, beautiful handmade tapestries, colourful personalised totem poles and a family of meerkats!
Exhibiting organisations include Camphill MK, MacIntyre, MK SNAP, Phoenix Rising MK and Talent Unlimited.
This exhibition has grown from the relationships and network built through MK Gallery’s multi-award-winning Inclusive Practice in the Arts programme.
The A is for Artist exhibition is FREE, runs until the end of April and is open Tues – Sun 10am – 5pm (please request entry from the main Gallery front desk).
Big thanks to our very own artists for making pieces to exhibit and to our Tools Workshop who made the special frames for our weaving!
