Cor, what a fantastic day we had on Saturday at our Handmade Craft & Food Fair!
We raised a whopping £5024.76 for our charity, which is £1400 more than last year.
We had 38 stalls plus food vans outside and 800 people through our doors. Our Café was open for refreshments, and they served over 300 hot drinks, that’s 50 per hour during the six hours the fair was open. The team prepared, cooked and served 77 portions of their vegetarian Butternut Curry, which had rave reviews on social media. Well done to our Bakery team for preparing all the sourdough bread and the other baked treats.
The star of the show was once again the Camphill craft stall, which sold over £720 worth of fantastic crafts items.
Our spirited Craft Fair could not have been possible without our supporters, staff, workshop coordinators, events coordinator, SMTs, senior support workers, assistant manager, support workers, volunteers and residents throughout the day.
We want to say a huge thank you to all the brilliant stallholders who made the day so special! Also, thanks to the PAW team for performing, and I hope you all enjoyed UkiTooNes playing along for an hour or so! The moving trumpet tribute played by Daniel to commemorate Armistice Day at 11am was also highly memomarble.
Thanks you al!!
We look forward to seeing you next year – Saturday 9th November 2024.
