Mayor of Milton Keynes Awards

On Friday evening attended the Mayor of Milton Keynes Awards at Stadium MK.

Norman was a finalist for Volunteer of the Year – selected from 100’s submissions, with him and just two others invited as finalists. The presenters (Ros & Wes from MKFM) shared with the 500 guests how Norman had supported Camphill MK for eight years, taking residents on trips, visits and holidays, giving 2.5 days a week to helping us. Unfortunately, Norman didn’t win the Mayor’s awards – but we all know he’s a winner in our eyes!

Camphill MK was a finalist for Charity of the Year. There are over 1,400 charities in Milton Keynes, and we made it to the last 3! The award on the night went to YiS, but it was fantastic sharing the Camphill MK story with everyone in the room.
