Volunteer Recognition
We are excited to share with you that our volunteer Norman has been shortlisted by the Mayor of Milton Keynes for a Mayors Award in the Volunteer of the Year award.
Norman has been invited to the ceremony on Friday 24th February where we will find out who the winners are. Did you know that in 2022, Norman drove over 8,500 miles for Camphill MK, typically giving 2.5 days a week to the community. His journeys include driving residents to and from MK Snap, Thrift Farm, Macintyre, Tools for Self-Reliance and to their swimming lessons!
Additionally, the whole Camphill MK community has been shortlisted by the Mayor for Charity of the Year – what an accolade (fingers crossed we win)!
Thank you to all of our volunteers for their incredible work demonstrating how great the community is and for supporting all of the residents.
