Maypole Dancing 2023
On the last day of May, we finally came together to celebrate with the Maypole dance.
The whole community met on the green at Willen to drum, call, dance, laugh, and find and crown our May King and Queen.
Big thanks to Terrie, Paul, Mitchell and the centre-stage team for leading the Maypole dancing! And to everyone, including Lucy and her limitless glitter, involved in the joyous occasion.
It was colourful, energetic and rhythmic! Everyone who joined in created noise, celebration, and dancing. It was so much fun.
