Camphill MK Residents with artist Rebecca Louise Law

Rebecca Louise Law: The Place Between

Our Craft Workshop took part in The Place Between exhibition as part of the Milton Keynes International Festival.

Artist Rebecca Louise Law created a large installation with people in Milton Keynes using dried flowers at the Middleton Hall centre:MK.

The Place Between project team ran flower garland workshops for local communities/organisations making dried flower garlands for the installation in Milton Keynes. One of the workshops was hosted in our Chrysalis Theatre, and all residents from Craft Workshop made many flower objects. We even used flowers from our garden!

Six of our residents attended the private view, which included a talk by Rebecca, who mentioned how nice it was to visit and work with Camphill MK. After the official talk, we went to see her, and she said she was emotional to see us! We had a nice group picture with her in front of the installation.

The epic FREE art installation opens Friday, 14th July and runs for three weeks.
