The Camphill MK T-Shirt Project
As you know, our residents are so proud of the community they live in. So we thought it would be good to have T-shirts designed for people to wear when they are out and about and for staff and volunteers to wear at fundraising events.
The T-shirts were created by a local illustrator Katie Allen who used icons designed by our resident Max. The icons represented our workshops – Tech Lab, Arts & Crafts, Weavery, Pottery, Gardening, Theatre, Bakery, Café and Tools for Self Reliance.
The final T-shirt design creates a sense of pride, identity and community.
The T-shirts were screen-printed, which is kinder to the environment than vinyl printing by a small independent business in Northampton. As soon as the T-Shirts arrived, our residents, staff & volunteers wore them with great pride.
The Camphill MK T-shirts are not currently for sale to the public, but if there is enough interest, we may do another print run. Contact our Fundraising team to express your interest.
A big thanks to Carolyn, who lead the project!
