John & Muriel’s Golden Wedding Anniversary

Camphill MK was honoured to have been invited to cater a three-course meal, with produce from our gardens where possible, to celebrate John & Muriel’s Golden Wedding Anniversary.

The Café team created a smoked salmon and crab starter and chicken breast main course with family-style platters of roasted potatoes, coleslaw, and salad. The dessert was a trio of chocolate mousse, summer pudding and fresh fruit. The event was held at the City Church. 

Our residents served their guests with support from Camphill MK staff.

John is a trustee for Camphill MK, and he and Muriel are regular visitors to our Café. They invited guests to donate to Camphill rather than send them gifts and raised a whopping £2,000 for our charity. Part of their donation included the Tile Me a Story and so their anniversary will be memorialised in our Capital scheme.
