MK Marathon Weekend Racers
We are bursting with pride for our MK Marathon Weekend racers!
Our Camphill Community Runners participated in various runs this Bank Holiday weekend. We had a team of staff taking part in the MK Marathon Relay, four runners (+2 support) in the Rocket 5k and four runners (+2 support) in the Superhero Run.
Travis completed the Rocket 5K in 27.56 minutes.
The Relay team ran an impressive 4h21.35 minutes
They were all AMAZING!
With huge thanks to Cheryl, who runs our Running Group and the team, Cheryl explained, “What a truly fabulous weekend it has been! I am so proud of every resident who took part and beyond grateful for all the staff event support. I really couldn’t have pulled it off without each and every one of you helping. The staff and residents that came along to cheer us on were priceless! It started as a thought and became a whole weekend of magic. We did it! Thank you all.”
We also want to thank MK Community Foundation for supporting our Running Group.
So far, we have raised over £435.00 (+Gift Aid). Our page is still open so there is still time to support our incredible runners here!
