Whitethorn House has been making a festive mess getting their house all Christmassy. The house-mates used natural foliage, tinsel, electric tea lights, dried orange slices, and of course, glitter to make these fabulous Christmas decorations.
Living with Disability Magazine published a great article about our community in their latest edition. They highlighted our workshops and what we do so well here at CMKC. This week we’ve been getting very festive but we’ve also not forgotten to keep ourselves fit. Thanks to Natalie, who ran a Fit 4 All taster session, the whole community – including residents, staff & volunteers got involved. It was so much fun!
We have been getting festive this winter by making wreaths using Christmas tree branches, berries, ribbons and anything else we could find. We really enjoy getting together for these seasonal workshops because each individual wreath is a reminder of just how unique we all are.
