UK-Wide Camphill News

The Association of Camphill Communities produces a biannual newsletter called Camphill Pages. Their latest edition, for Spring/Summer 2022, explores ‘community’.

Community is often formed and indeed strengthened out of hardship and challenge.

Camphill’s journey has negotiated many challenges over the years and has faced each of them with creativity and resolve to win through. Maintaining our values and principles as we negotiate those challenges or sometimes finding new direction because of them. We are all still on that journey together, and we remember fondly our pathfinders and value their inspiring legacy of clarity and awareness of what Camphill has been and will be as we move together out of the current challenges of pandemics and wars.”

The Association of Camphill Communities (often referred to as the AoCC) is a membership body for Camphill communities in the UK and Ireland. All communities are able to join the AoCC which facilitates mutual support among Camphill communities, co-ordinates some of their activities, and represents their common interests. Communities in the United Kingdom and Ireland which choose to join the AoCC are grouped into four geographical areas known as neighbourhoods: English/Welsh, Scottish, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
